About Freddy

My aviation career started early. As a teenager I was loading crop duster airplanes and working at airports assisting with maintenance and driving fuel trucks. I then flew in the Air Force as a Flight Engineer and received my private pilot’s license through the Air Force Aero Club.

After my active duty time I continued to work for the Air Force in the command and control and mission planning fields. I was able to use the GI Bill to earn a Master’s in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and to pursue my advanced flying ratings. In 2017 I began giving ground instruction and in 2018 flight instruction in the Monterey Bay area of California. I’m currently instructing at Sumter County Airport in Sumter, South Carolina.
